The results showed that when the participants had been fed the high-fat breakfast, concentrations of CBD showed up in their blood plasma levels between 4 and 14 times higher than when the subjects took CBD while fasting.
The study underscores the importance of continued research into seemingly small details such as this that could be easily overlooked. Additionally, ongoing education is also warranted. If people wrongly assume it is best to take CBD on an empty stomach, they could be losing out on the potential benefits of the compound altogether.
