At the heart of ECHO Connection is our sponsorship program, which through generous donations allows us to connect sick children and families with the healing properties of cannabinoids like cannabidiol (CBD).
We’re excited to share that as of today, we’ve approved 22 families for our program!
Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve highlighted the progress of two ECHO Connection families, including the Pagano’s and the Algire’s. Seven-year-old Beyla Pagano has been taking CBD hemp oil to manage her seizure symptoms for years. It’s only been about a month since nearly 2-year old Silas Algire started taking CBD oil in an effort to manage seizures, and already he’s seen exciting effects.
One of our very first ECHO family members, Sadie Higuera, recently celebrated her 4th birthday. Sadie is the daughter of Brian Higuera, one of ECHO’s three Board of Directors. Diagnosed with a rare congenital neurodegenerative disorder, Sadie no longer experiences grand mal seizures and has had tumors disappear since she started taking CBD hemp oil more than three years ago.
You can learn about our other ECHO families, as hear about their stories and experiences of taking CBD, by visiting our ECHO Families page.
ECHO supports several established families, but is also looking to expand and help more who are facing special circumstances. If you or someone you know could benefit from cannabinoids, read about how to become an ECHO Sponsored Family and what to know when applying.
