Are CBD Bath Bombs Worth It?

by ECHO Connection / Thursday, 26 March 2020 / Published in Education

After a stressful day at work, in the classroom, or at the gym, nothing is more relaxing and therapeutic than taking a hot bath. Using things like Epsom salts or bath bombs can relax your muscles and offer an aromatherapeutic element to your nighttime routine. Using the right products can leave you feeling moisturized and smelling amazing after a bath.

What if you could take your relaxing bath to the next level? CBD bath bombs have the potential to give you a spa-quality experience without having to pay hundreds of dollars. Wondering if you should take the plunge and invest in some therapeutic bath products? Keep reading to see if CBD bath bombs are right for you.

What is a CBD Bath Bomb?

A CBD bath bomb contains all the properties of a regular bath bomb, including a fizzing effect when entering the bathwater. They’re typically made with components like citric acid and aromatic essential oils, ideal for relaxing in the tub after a long day. In addition to these skin-safe components, CBD bath bombs contain either full-spectrum or isolated CBD.

CBD is 100 percent federally legal in the United States thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill and can be ordered and shipped safely in the USA. CBD doesn’t contain any intoxicating properties like its sister chemical THC and will not produce the “high” that you would typically get from recreational marijuana.

CBD is thought to provide several different therapeutic effects, backed by a variety of anecdotal evidence corroborated with scientific studies. After a long day, CBD could improve your mood and make you feel much more relaxed and prepared for a long night’s sleep.

CBD is also believed to benefit your skincare routine significantly. According to New York-based aesthetician Ildi Pekar, CBD could reduce inflammation and act as an antioxidant for your skin. Also, using CBD in skincare could help to reduce common issues like skin dryness or damage from free radicals. Using CBD to improve the effectiveness of your skincare routine is just another reason to add it to your bath bombs, especially if you’re already dropping a lot of money on skincare products and aren’t seeing significant results.

So, Are They Worth It?

If you don’t already use luxury bath or skincare products, these CBD bath bombs may not seem worth it to you. However, if you’re someone who loves to indulge or already sets aside a hefty budget dedicated to your skin, you’ll probably love them.

At the end of the day, CBD bath bombs are indeed meant for those looking to experiment with their aesthetic products, and not someone looking to cure severe ailments. If you’re looking to have a spa-like experience in your home without spending a lot of money, CBD bath bombs are the perfect way for you to indulge.
